Structure & Interior fitout

In order to be able to work on the interior of the ship, rough coring was necessary here.

Not so easy to decide what will be needed in the future or can go away.
Ultimately, all plywood bits were disposed of and all usefull equipment stored.

Bringing everything out through the companionway is annoying in the long run, so soon the deckhouse came down as it had to go down sooner or later anyway.

Doghouse is off

Engine, transmission and shaft went out within one afternoon.
Thank’s Marcus for your support.

Now the 350l diesel tank made of stainless steel has been removed. Unfortunately, inside a partition wall became loose and must be re-welded.
The toilet could be an old “Baby Blake”. Spare parts are, as far as I have researched, still available.
Let’s see if we can finally bring it back into service.

Initially we tried to drill out bolts, screws and nails, but this was not really efficient, therefore a corresponding tool was needed!

Progress !!!!!

After the interior was completely stripped out the whole disaster became visible.

Almost all original floors are rotten or broken and the keel beam made of elm is as well very ailing.
